Hip Clothing Co. Inc. is a Toronto-based studio where beautiful, functional, durable t-shirts, skirts, handbags and accessories are designed, hand silkscreened and hand sewn. Long-sleeved t's with original illustrations are a favourite clothing staple, but being 5'10" (178 cm), t-shirts I bought were always too short, would fade in the first wash and shrink (even after hang drying), leaving me with a less colourful, tight, navel-flaunting garment. Finally putting my graphic design skills to work in a new medium I
seized the opportunity to screen inspired images onto custom Handmade upholstery fabric handbags were included in the product line after receiving many compliments on them over the years—the latest embodying silkscreened elements.
